UMASHI (adjective) directly means fine or delicious today, and it originally means abnormal states that lead awful gain or loss in favor of the Japanese archaic definition of beauty (~= that also means “awe”). For the purpose of checking rather intuitively what each of us should do or not on a daily basis besides huge noise & crosstalk of transient, foggy, and filthy societies, we can use a casual question: “is this the thing what called UMASHI?” as an light assessment of living issues.
